Secret fingerprinting ?
I was horrified to learn only this week that my daughter Jennie now aged 25 was fingerprinted at the age of 5 during her first term at primary school in 1986, so just possibly, this deceitful practice has been going on behind our backs for many years.
Apparently, the local village Bobby (we had them then) visited the school and fingerprinted all the children in her age group. It was portrayed as a game of cops and robbers, and consequently she did not think it unusual, and so did not report it to us her parents. Needless to say, the school teachers didn't advise us either!
This is a flagrant infringement of civil liberty and should be stopped! Furthermore, this is fingerprinting by stealth and attacks the most vulnerable in our society, by obliging very young children to conform to some secret EU directive without gaining the prior permission of their parents!
